Potassium Cocoate soap is a 39% solids, coconut oil-derived potassium salt derived from whole coconut oil. Since it is derived from the whole oil, potassium coco soap contains glycerin, which serves as a natural moisturizer in formulated hand soaps. Potassium cocoate soap can also be used as a base for natural-type shampoo formulations and can easily be thickened with Carbopol® SMART 1000 polymer.
