Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Vice President, Operations, the Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sustainable, strategic growth across Forium’s 3PL warehousing and sampling services. Using their existing experience, the Business Development Manager nurtures existing relationships and identifies opportunities to grow the client base of Forium Solutions, while embodying our purpose of being a blessing and inspiring others to be a blessing, as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sustainable revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in warehousing, fulfillment, and sampling services.
Develop and execute strategies to capture incremental revenue and expand market presence
Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts that reflect client needs and operational feasibility
Serve as a trusted partner to clients by understanding their operational challenges and delivering tailored 3PL solutions that drive long-term value.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery
Lead commercial negotiations and communicate value through a consultative approach
Leverage industry knowledge and internal partnerships to inform growth strategies, strengthen offerings, and enhance Forium’s position in the market
Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on market trends, customer needs, and service gaps
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
5+ years of business development or sales experience in 3PL warehousing, logistics/freight, or supply chain solutions; Experience in the chemical industry, preferred.
Deep familiarity with 3PL operations and customer requirements; Established industry contacts, preferred.
Ability to work independently and strategically
Self-starter, entrepreneurial, and high-value for relationships
Ability to travel up to 25%
